Job Highlights
Arup’s Programme and Project Management is inviting high calibre talent to support our business expansion for the increasing market coverage. The candidate will be working on high profile and large-scale projects in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Project management in construction stage of Macau’s major development and report to Project Leader
- Liaise with Client Representatives, Resident Site Staff and Contractors. Make timely escalation and early warnings to key project stakeholders, AP, RSE, RGE aiming to resolve issues
- Drive and monitor Project Consultants to provide feedback to contractors’ submissions and queries
- Monitor the process of evaluating construction related submissions, including construction programme, methodology, materials, site supervision protocol, etc
- Establish and drive the change management process
- Identify construction risks and opportunities with mitigation strategies to maintain key project milestones
- Chair meetings related to site matters and drive the decision-making processes
- Ensure successful testing and commissioning, handover and defect rectification works are performed
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Degree in Architecture / Civil / Structural / Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in managing new build construction matters; candidates with less experience might be considered for position of Project Manager
- Possess a membership of relevant professional institution(s)
- Familiar with project management processes, systems and tools
- Creative, self-motivated with good interpersonal and influencing communication skills
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels
