Our Indonesian business is going from strength to strength. The Jakarta office has grown rapidly from a staff number in 2021 of 37 to current level of 80 staff with further growth underway and planned. The office has been successful in winning major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in particular in transport space, and there is a strong pipeline of opportunities. To support achieving excellence in project delivery of major transport Infrastructure projects, the Indonesian Geography wishes to invest in an experienced Infrastructure Project Delivery Leader with proven skills and capability in this field.
The Infrastructure Project Delivery Leader will lead bid and project teams at Project Director level for large scale multidisciplinary infrastructure projects by leveraging the broader Arup capabilities. This role will collaboratively integrate the wider One Arup expertise to create localized capabilities in delivering commercial positive projects with excellence.
The Opportunity
• Responsible in bidding and procuring work, negotiating major contracts and for financial performance in several areas by leading project execution in the role of Project Director, Commercial Director, or Project Manager on projects with fees up to equivalent of AUD$10m in Indonesian Rupiah
• Responsible in the development, design, and management of large, complex, long-term projects. This will involve coordinating people, facilities, and resources within tight timelines and in line with budgetary constraints
• Encourage the seamless collaboration between technical disciplines
• Be accountable for client relations and of representing Arup at a high level locally, nationally, and internationally
• Responsible in recruitment, appraisals, performance development, morale, and motivation of staff

Is this role right for you?
• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or similar disciplines
• Chartered Membership or equivalent of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies (e.g. MICE, CEng, CPEng etc)
• Effective written communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher-than-normal workload.
• Remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines.
